Thought of the Day
"In between my screwed -up Manufacturing Processes test and my nose that plans to run away to freedom, in between the nice song im listening to right now by the Cranberries and the half movie i just saw, in between the Rayleigh Line Flow of Gas Dynamics and my Refrigeration test result, in between the thought that i still havent prayed Isha and the thought that i should get back to bed under the blankets, in between the intention of practicing John Lennon's 'Imagine' on my guitar and the fact that i should clean my nose now finally......in between all these thoughts i just realized....I HAVENT HAD A CHOCOLATE IN THREE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!"
Thought of the Day
"All I want to do is be more like me and be less like you." - Linkin Park, Numb. What I feel like saying to the Man in the Mirror.
The Tribute to Eddie
I saw the smackdown last night which they aired after Eddie Geurrero's death. it was weird yet touching to see wrestlers like batista, shane mcmahon and jbl shed tears as they remembered latino heat. the whole tribute showed one glaring fact: that even the biggest and the baddest can come to tears when it comes to a loss.
Havoc At Old Trafford
I hate to give in to stuff, especially when it comes to my favourite things. But i must give in to the fact, that after Roy Keane leaving ManU, things look really bleak. First of all, that bloody beer-guzzling yankee doodle Malcom GLazer takes over a purely ENGLISH club. Then Phil Neville leaves. Beckham and Butt are already gone. And now the skipper himself. He surely was a force to reckon with, the way he led the team on everywhere. i feel that wherever theres a team, in any sphere of life, they need a Roy Keane to lead them on. maybe a little less bad mouth, but he was the old guy you could hide behind when in trouble. Fare-the-well O great cap'n!
p.s., if temur is reading this : I'M STILL STICKIN WITH MAN U!!
Confession of the Day
I think i've just blown my chance of getting an A grade in Gas Dynamics.
Adios Amigo
Always a big wrestling fan, the sad news of the death of Eddie Gurrero struck like lightning. Not the fact that i was a HUGE fan of his. i guess it was more the fact that youve been seeing a guy perform in such a lively manner, with all his energy and youth, and the next morning you find out hes dead. no sickness, no drug addiction. nothing. wonder what the autopsy results are. stil the news is really saddening. the guy had a style of his own: his cars, his hairstyle, his attitude. i remember him way back when i was in saudia, and he had a tag team with chris benoit in wcw. Eddie will be missed :(
Eid Saeed.....but..
A happy eid to the very selected visitors to my blog. I would just like to remind everyone, that there are more than a few million ppl who are much much less fortunate than we are right now. Their namaz e Eid will be in the roofless mosques, their Eid clothes wil be the ragged ones they had left, their sweets will be whatever they can get to eat. Please dont hesitate to help them in ANY way you can. Just remember, they are humans, they are Muslims and they are Pakistanis. Any one of these three should be a strong enough reason for you to support them in any way you can. Theres another link ive
Thanks..
