The Thoughts He Thinks

Once again, I'm in the crowd,
Applauding for you.
Once again, I'm behind the monitor,
Praising the scenery behind you.
Once again, I'm by your side,
Marvelling at your watch.
Once again, I'm infront of the speakers,
Approving at the clarity of your voice.
Yet with every clap,
Every word of praise,
Every thought,
Every nod of approval,
I kill the voice inside of me,
That questions,
That doubts,
That suspects,
My fate, my capabilities,
The impartiality of justic.
But, as one part of me resolves,
To never give up,
The other part fears the worst:
That once again,
I'll be there;
Applauding, Praising, Marvelling, Approving.

I dont know why I feel this ungrateful. But its at these dark times that I try to tell myself that I must learn the biggest lesson of life: to accept that everyone has a fate of his own, and thats just the way it is.
